Product Portfolio:

• Category 5e - The industry standard, over 80% of firms now use Cat 5/5e for their corporate networks. It can support up to 100Mhz and is the minimum standard of cabling that should be used. Gigabit Ethernet will function on this standard if it is installed to industry regulations.

• Category 6 – Backward compatible and the category that clients are now installing if costs permit. Organisations will need to install this standard to make sure that future increased bandwidth requirements can be satisfied, especially with the increased use of Gigabit Ethernet. It can support speeds of 250Mhz and will future proof your firm’s network for the coming years.

• Category 7 – The fastest standard available, capable of transfer speeds of up to 600Mhz. Cat 7 will completely future proof your system for any conceivable application in the imminent future.

• Optical fibre – Can transmit data at speeds ranging from 800Mhz to 1300Mhz and is used primarily to transmit data between buildings and different cabling units. Unlike copper cables, optical fibre is not susceptible to near end cross talk and they do not conduct electricity or support ground loops, so they are impervious to lightning strikes.

• CW1308 Voice cabling – Basic voice cable that is suitable for telephony and other voice communications.
